Completed in 2017, The Power Centre is our purpose-built home for science, innovation and training. We fill this building with industry professionals coaching new and existing colleagues.
Our Training and Development
We simply wouldn't be a successful, fun and outgoing business without our people. That's why your personal development matters to us. We commit to your development plan from the moment you walk through the doors of Rentokil Initial.
We make sure you receive a structured start to your Rentokil Initial journey with a support network in place to aide your progression. You will benefit from industry-leading training courses from the beginning with future courses too if your position increases in seniority.

A structured start - Each and every part of the business provides you with an induction programme when you join that introduces you to Rentokil Initial and guides you through the first few weeks of your career with us.

Support network - Once you have completed your induction programme, you will receive a phenominal amount of support from both your line manager and your colleagues to help you grasp your responsibilities as you take ownership of what career path you'd like to follow with us.

Academy training - Our Technical and Sales Academies provide you with the knowledge to make you experts, the techniques to cope with difficult or demanding situations and the confidence to own your job role. This isn't for three months, this is ongoing as they prepare you for any new job roles you encounter.

Future plans - In a few years time, you may need a different kind of support from us. That's why we've developed Aspiring managerial and technical courses and higher level apprenticeships. We'll even arrange mentorships with key senior people in Rentokil Initial if you are proving yourself as a promising talent in our business.

Maintaining the highest standards of technical training
Our UK operations deliver over 4,000 days of technical and sales training, including online and practical in-field elements.
At The Power Centre, we have three classrooms and seven scenario training rooms to match the environments in which our technicians work. Our expertise, facilities and on-site scientific support make The Power Centre the industry’s best training facility in Europe.
Online Training
Online training supplements our technical and skills training. Rentokil Initial colleagues completed 337,785 items of online training last year and we created over 300 courses and videos around topics such as sales, technical and operational best practice.
