Our recruitment team is committed to providing a structured interview process that will allow you to be yourself whilst sharing your skills and experiences.
The interview stages can vary depending on the role you apply for. Below you will find a typical interview journey that each of our candidates will go through, there can be additional steps for specific roles which you will be notified of by your recruiter if you have to complete.
Please remember we are here to help you. If you have any questions regarding your interview, please reach out to your recruiter.
What is the timescale of the application process? -After submitting an application, an acknowledgement email will be sent within five working days. If you meet the requirements for the role, one of our recruiters will be in contact within two weeks.
Is there flexibility on location? -We aim to be as flexible as possible, and as we have numerous businesses across the UK it is likely we can accommodate you at one of our locations.
Do I need a drivers licence? -For the majority of our front line roles you would need a full valid UK driving licence with no more than six points. We do have administration roles and office based roles that do not require a full UK licence.
What qualifications do I need to apply for a role at Rentokil Initial? -For our Graduate roles we would require you to have a minimum of a 2:2 BSc degree. Our Pest Control technician roles require English and Maths GCSEs at level C or above. However, for all our other roles we provide you with on the job and formal training so you wouldn't require prior qualifications.
What pre-employment checks do you do? -If you’re successful, we will need to see your right to work in the UK documents, as well as running some basic background checks specific to the role. For example, some roles may call for a criminal record check and the majority of our roles require us to check your driving licence. Sometimes we need to carry out a more in-depth level of screening. If that’s the case, we’ll let you know at the offer stage.
