Our recruitment team is committed to providing a structured interview process that will allow you to be yourself whilst sharing your skills and experiences.
The interview stages can vary depending on the role you apply for. Below you will find a typical interview journey that each of our candidates will go through, there can be additional steps for specific roles which you will be notified of by your recruiter if you have to complete.
Please remember we are here to help you. If you have any questions regarding your interview, please reach out to your recruiter.
After submitting an application, an acknowledgement email will be sent within five working days. If you meet the requirements for the role, one of our recruiters will be in contact within two weeks.
We aim to be as flexible as possible, and as we have numerous businesses across the UK it is likely we can accommodate you at one of our locations.
For the majority of our front line roles you would need a full valid UK driving licence with no more than six points. We do have administration roles and office based roles that do not require a full UK licence.
For our Graduate roles we would require you to have a minimum of a 2:2 degree in a science or business management related subject. Our Pest Control technician roles require English and Maths GCSEs at level C (grade 4) or above. However, for all our other roles we provide you with on the job and formal training so you wouldn't require prior qualifications.
If you’re successful, we will need to see your right to work in the UK documents, as well as running some basic background checks specific to the role. For example, some roles may call for a criminal record check and the majority of our roles require us to check your driving licence. Sometimes we need to carry out a more in-depth level of screening. If that’s the case, we’ll let you know at the offer stage.
The recruitment process is designed to be clear and structured. It typically begins with an online application, followed by a telephone screening to discuss your experience. Shortlisted candidates then attend a competency-based interview, which may also include a practical assessment or a half-day shadowing colleagues in the field. Throughout the journey, we prioritise transparency and finding the right cultural fit for our team.
Yes, we take career development seriously. Many of our managers have started in the field as Technicians, and progressed into more senior roles. You have the option to advance into supervisory roles, technical positions, or branch management. With our focus on internal promotion and professional certifications, your time as a technician serves as the foundation for a long-term, rewarding career with us.
