What’s it like in the real world?

  • You need to be comfortable working on your own - although you will be busy with customers, your car will quickly become your own personal office space. Our current Consultants can testify it can at times be lonely.
  • Here at Rentokil Initial we are all about performance. We firmly believe that the more you put into a job the more opportunities there are for you to earn above your basic salary and to progress within the company. You will work to monthly targets and the more you sell the more you earn.
  • Our customers are hugely important to us - you will need to make our current clients/customers (whichever) feel valued at each visit.

Yes, all new Sales Consultants  complete a comprehensive six-week training programme at the Sales Academy. This blends classroom sessions at the “Power Centre”, with digital learning through our personalised Rentokil-Initial U+ platform and real-world field shadowing. The programme is designed to build your technical skills and confidence before you start managing your own territory.

  • What is the career progression for a Sales Consultant?

Career progression follows a structured grading system: Rookie, Consultant, Advanced Consultant, and Senior Consultant.
