Progressing within the technical field at Rentokil can lead to a wide range of opportunities. After your time as a technician,
there will be further training within pest control level 3 and 4 BPCA. This option offers a real technical career path, where you can develop technical expertise and become a technical expert. The typical path of someone on our technical graduate scheme is below.
Technical Route job roles
Field Biologist
- Further training within Pest Control Level 3 and 4 BPCA
- Site inspections, analysing and identifying the root cause of pest infestations
- Quality of service reports on clients premises
- Quality Assurance of customer premises and service delivery
- Tackling on-going client issues with review meeting – a real problem solving role
- Field based with a large geographical patch
Technical Field Consultant
- Accessing customer sites and preparing action plans
- Overseeing Operations activities to ensure infestations are controlled
- Carrying out quality assurance inspections
- Carry out performance assessments on new technicians
- Delivering technical training courses
Regional Technical Account Manager
- Being the technical expert for a number of National Key Accounts by carrying out
quality audit and critical appraisal visits - Leading and guiding the operational teams through to a successful service delivery
- Having an in-depth working knowledge of high risk stores and overall risk model
- Aid Key Account Manager to increase revenue and profitability of the account through
innovation
