Sales Route

If a career in sales is what you’re after, then advancing on this path may be ideal for you. Once you’ve gained experience as a technician, you will then be responsible for surveying properties and selling Pest Control services. Further opportunities in this field include the chance to manage customer accounts and to demonstrate your expertise by running seminars and training sales staff.

Sales Route job roles

Sales Surveyor

  • Field sales position, surveying properties and selling pest control services and products
  • Follow up leads and enquiries, develop any new business, maintain existing customer
  • Survey clients premises and come up with bespoke plans suitable for each customer
  • Build relationships with customers and see deals to completion
  • Targeted role with the opportunity to earn uncapped commission

Key Account Manager

This role focuses on account management and development, working closely with local
teams to drive profitable growth within a sustainable portfolio by:

  • New business development
  • Upselling to our customers
  • Account managing a portfolio of customers
  • Customer visits
  • Bids and tendering to customers

Specialist Sales Consultant

In this role you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities within the Construction,F.M, Architect, QS and other sectors by:

  • Delivering customer presentations, running seminars, target marketing and attending occasional business expos
  • To train Sales staff in all aspects of Specialist Services Work
  • Identifying new business opportunities, surveying customer properties, costing jobs, report writing, preparing risk assessments, writing method statements and preparing quotes to customers
  • Liaising with Service Managers and acting as a bridge between sales and service
