There is also opportunity for you to advance in Operations after you have completed your time as a technician. Your time in this section can involve managing and supporting both surveyors and technicians through training, coaching and field accompaniment. Alongside this, there is also opportunity for you to develop new and existing business and to generate revenue streams against set targets.

Operational Route job roles

Service Team Leader

  • Day to day support for team of technicians
  • Maximise productivity of team
  • Overall responsibility for area service delivery
  • Customer engagement
  • Support Local Ops Managers and Area Ops Managers
  • Business processes - ordering equipment, new starter, interviews and more

Local Operations Manager

This is a management position, your time will be spent in the field supporting staff and
visiting customer sites. You will be responsible for directly managing members of your team:

  • Territory planning
  • New and existing business development - generating revenue streams against set
    targets
  • To support Surveyors and Technicians through training, coaching and field
    accompaniment
  • Continuously monitor performance data and individual and overall trends

Area Operations Manager

In this senior leadership role you will support a number of Local Operations Managers (LOMs). Primarily a field based role, the majority of your time will be spent leading, guiding and controlling the efforts of the LOM’s and their branches consisting of teams of service technicians and surveyors by:

  • Maintaining staffing levels
  • Retaining and growing our customer portfolio base (can range between £6m-£10m)
  • Being responsible for the welfare of all colleagues in your area
  • Ensuring your area meets the set financial and service delivery targets
  • Setting and monitoring sales strategies and targets
  • Ensuring customers contractual obligations are met or exceeded
