Branch Manager

I started working for Rentokil Initial in March 2015.

I worked as a Design Consultant after graduation, before joining our Ambius business. I now work for Rentokil Specialist Hygiene.

Career at Rentokil Initial

  • What do you do all day? - I am responsible for all the operational services we provide out of my local Rentokil Specialist Hygiene branch. If you bump into me in the field or at the branch, you would find me organising and planning our operations for the next quarter, resolving any individual needs or incidents in my team, working with other branches to agree operational strategies and carrying out as much of my admin work inbetween as possible!

  • What do you love about your job? - I love developing great relationships and trust with my customers and colleagues throughout Rentokil Initial. I've worked across two brands now and I feel I know so many people in the company.

  • Talk us through your career so far - I started as a Graduate Rookie Consultant in Ambius in 2015 and won two awards at the 2016 Conference; 'Sales Rookie of the Year' and 'Customer Champion.' I progressed to Customer Consultant in December 2016 and was involved in some Rentokil Initial group projects which were presented to the Managing Director. In April 2017 I applied for the Aspiring Everything course, which runs for 12 months and whilst on the course I was promoted to Key Account Manager in Rentokil Specialist Hygiene. I have recently successfully applied to become a Branch Manager, which I'm currently loving!

  • Where do you want to go from here? - There are so many opportunities for me in the long term with Rentokil Initial. I am enjoying managing and supporting a team and would like to continue my leadership route. I have always enjoyed supporting and coaching colleagues and I think Rentokil Initial can continue to provide me opportunities for progression!

  • What makes you a Rentokil Initial person? - I am passionate, self-motivated and trustworthy. I take ownership of everything I do and I believe that anything is possible as a family and team!

  • What advice would you give to Sales Consultants joining the business? - You need to have career aspirations and self-motivation. If you thrive to achieve and want to be part of a huge team, you will fit into the Rentokil Initial family!
