I have worked for Rentokil Initial since 2012.

It is varied, but I guess the bulk of my role is helping and supporting people with whatever comes up.

Career at Rentokil Initial

  • What do you love about your job? - There is so much variety to my role, no day is the same and the people I work with are great.

  • Why did you join Rentokil Initial? - I needed a new challenge and wanted to further my experience working in a big HR function.

  • Talk us through your career so far - I started as a Rentokil Pest Control HR Advisor for the north of the UK, which quickly changed to supporting the whole of the UK! As the number of businesses under the UK remit grew, I supported those businesses as well. I have learned so much along the way and have at one time or another supported all of the UK businesses. Currently, my role is HR Manager for Initial Washroom Hygiene, in which I also offer some support to all of the UK businesses.

  • Where do you want to go from here? - I am currently transitioning into an HR Manager's position and look forward to fully supporting our second-largest business.

  • What makes you a Rentokil Initial person? - I am hardworking, loyal, trustworthy, approachable and am prepared to do what is necessary to get the job done.

  • What advice would you give to applying candidates? - It can be very busy at times but working here is never boring! If you want to learn a lot and be involved in a variety of areas then this company would be the right fit for you.
