Rentokil Initial's award wins demonstrate continued commitment to colleagues, new learners and safety

08 October 2018: Rentokil Initial is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a Hygeia Award in the Centre of Excellence category, which recognises its commitment to learners as well as the prestigious 2018 RoSPA Gold Award, in recognition of its practices and achievements in helping frontline colleagues get home safely at the end of the working day.

Both awards demonstrate the company’s continued commitment to its employees, ensuring they all have the opportunities to continue to learn and develop their skills, whilst maintaining a safe environment to work in.

This is recognition of the work we do in developing and training our staff across the business, and it highlights our commitment to learners through high levels of teaching and support, alongside proven high pass rates.”

The Hygeia Awards recognise the achievements of learners and centres. This year the awards were expanded to include centres, tutors and learners taking qualifications that are not assessed by an examination. They are awarded by the RSPH, the world’s longest-established public health body.

Awarded by The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents, The RoSPA awards recognise and celebrate excellence in safety performance and commitment to raising health and safety standards. RoSPA Gold Award winners have achieved a very high level of performance, demonstrating well developed occupational health and safety management systems and culture, outstanding control of risk and very low levels of error, harm and loss.
